Here is the Model M20 waterproof connector, the compatible connector includes wire to wire assembly, wire to panel assembly, and inline molding and wire to panel molding, angle connectors.

Wire to male panel type waterproof connector

The male connector is panel type that will be mounted on the box. The panel type connector can be front panel type or rear panel mount. 
Front panel mount: hex nut will be in front of panel hole. 
Rear panel mount: hex nut will be in rear of panel hole. 

The female should be assembly or molding type connector. 
 

Wire to female panel type waterproof connector

The female connector is panel type that will be mounted on the box. The panel type connector can be front panel type or rear panel mount. 
Front panel mount: hex nut will be in front of panel hole. 
Rear panel mount: hex nut will be in rear of panel hole. 

The male should be assembly or molding type connector.

How to choose a right cable gland to get better waterproof grade?

The cable gland inner diameter should be closer to but larger than cable OD to ensure the cable go through cable gland but get better waterproof effect.
